Moderated by Ineke Dane, this discussion will delve into the artists’ history, creative processes, and identities—unpacking how these elements shape and inform the stories within their work. About Ilsa Wynne-Hoelscher
Ilsa Wynne-Hoelscher is an Australian photographer and film director with her practice spanning across portraiture, documentary, still life, fashion and advertising. Ilsa aims to capture subjects and narratives true to how she sees and digests the world, translating her visual work into a more intimate and candid experience for the viewer. With a longstanding intrigue of the human condition her work offers audiences a female gaze informed by her fine arts background and research.
Her debut photobook NUÑEZ (2023) was a Finalist for the Australian and New Zealand Photobook Award 2024, and was exhibited with PHOTO Australia and V&A Museum, London, and is a part of the National Art Library (UK) catalogue.
