NOISY HOUR with REDinc Artist Collective
5pm, Thursday, 27 November
For this special NOISY HOUR performance, a dynamic group of artists from REDinc’s Music and Dance programs have come together to present an improvised exploration of sound and movement. The performance draws on key activities from the REDinc music program, blending live improvisation with movement and an audio soundscape composed of the voices and sounds of our non-verbal participants that fill our creative spaces every day. Together, they offer a glimpse into the living, breathing energy of REDinc — where creativity and community meet in joyful expression.NOISY HOUR is part of our accessibility program, to encourage audiences to observe and experience the exhibitions in unexpected ways in response to the element of sound and performance activating the exhibition space.
Free, no bookings required.
Accessibility: The Gallery is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to discuss your access requirements, please email linsey.gosper@lismore.nsw.gov.au or call 02 6627 4606.
REDinc Artist Collective
For over 30 years, REDinc has been dedicated to supporting people to dream big and bring those dreams to life. Founded in 1991 by a group of parents of school leavers with disabilities, REDinc was created in response to a lack of meaningful post-school opportunities — and has since grown into a thriving not-for-profit community organisation recognised for its vibrant Creative Arts programs.
REDinc’s artists have developed a strong presence in the local arts community through countless exhibitions, performances, and collaborations that celebrate creativity, individuality, and inclusion.
