Read to me II
5 - 6pm, Thursday 6 November
Join us for Read to me, with Ella Noah Bancroft and Joshua Lynch. They will be reading texts and performing spoken word pieces in response to the exhibitions, We Marry You O Sea, as a Sign of True and Perpetual Dominion, by Sonia Levy, and Islands not to scale (Maru a’o) – Act II, by Mark Maurangi Carroll. Both exhibitions place water as a central theme. The event will take place on a full moon, aligning with a Radio Amnion transmission - an online lunar sound ritual that sends artists' voices and soundings 2.5 kms deep in/to the Pacific Ocean during each full moon. Founder, Jol Thoms is a guest speaker on Episode 3 of Magical Fresh & Salty Conversations, a program affiliated with the exhibition We Marry You O Sea, as a Sign of True and Perpetual Dominion.
