Captured by award-winning photojournalist Jacklyn Wagner, this exhibition showcases photographs of survivors and the unimaginable aftermath of the historic February and March 2022 floods across Northern New South Wales. Composed of 100 images, Through the Heart... tenderly portrays the resilience of Lismore residents as they start to reconnect with their homes, neighbours and community.

Dream vibrations

Peter Faulkner is a Bundjalung man whose artwork reflects his community and the vibrancy of inherited cultural practice. Peter is a visual storyteller, sharing ancestry, history and the stories of his people in large colourful compositions across a range of media including printmaking, painting, sculpture, and more recently AI.

In Peter’s words: Country talks to you. There are signs all around. Country speaks through signs from Nature, the patterns that emerge inform us of what’s coming. Our ancestors speak to us too through signs and shifts in energy. Sometimes you hear them dance and sing.

Dream vibrations is an exhibition of new work, developed during Peter’s awarded Binns Artist Studio Residency at Lismore Regional Gallery.
