Simha was Assistant Art Coordinator, Hermannsburg Potters (2004-2006), and Art Coordinator (2006-2009). During her appointment she secured substantial infrastructure funding for the Pottery Studio upgrade, implemented a new business plan and marketing strategies, and offered artistic direction and tutorship. In 2007 Simha introduced the sgraffito method to the potters. Several of these sgraffito pots were subsequently purchased for the Queensland Art Gallery collection.
Simha grew up at Hermannsburg, with her mother Naomi Sharp who founded the pottery program in there 1991. From this early stage she formed a deep connection with the people, the landscape and knew the development of the enterprise from its inception.
In 2014 Simha founded Vivid Tours International specializing in cultural travel and practice-led art retreats in Central Australia, Byron Bay and Europe. You can also read about the tour here http://www.vividtoursinternational.com.au/
