Peter Faulkner: Dream vibrations

Peter Faulkner is a Bundjalung man whose artwork reflects his community and the vibrancy of inherited cultural practice. Peter is a visual storyteller, sharing ancestry, history and the stories of his people in large colourful compositions across a range of media including printmaking, painting, sculpture, and more recently AI.In Peter’s words: Country talks to you. There are signs all around. Country speaks through signs from Nature, the patterns that emerge inform us of what’s coming. Our ancestors speak to us too through signs and shifts in energy. Sometimes you hear them dance and sing.
Dream vibrations is an exhibition of new work, developed during Peter’s awarded Binns Artist Studio Residency at Lismore Regional Gallery.
