René Bolten :: Paintings and Drawings
10 Dec 2016 - 4 Feb 2017
Gallery 1
Paintings and Drawings
Brings together still lifes, abstract drawings, figures and faces
Creating a presence that is more than just the seen
Still lifes that follow a recipe
Nude figures Uncle and Aunt, changing the perception of the body through the attachment of name
Abstract drawings chosen from hundreds that bring their meaning through title
And faces reflected in mirrors that echo our own private moments in daily life
More than visuality
Unfolding stories
Beyond the surface
