Join artist Liv Enqvist for an embroidery workshop inviting you to reflect on the places, plants, rivers and landscapes you love, and how we can care for them in a changing climate. Guided through simple stitching techniques, you’ll create a small stitched love letter to the land. Your piece will contribute to a larger textile artwork by Liv, bringing together individual reflections on place, care and connection across the Northern Rivers. No embroidery experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.
Tickets are $10, places are limited, and bookings are essential. This workshop is for people aged 16 +. Book now.
What to expect
This is a gentle, hands-on workshop suitable for beginners and anyone interested in stitching, textiles, place or creative reflection. During the workshop, Liv will guide you through simple embroidery techniques and offer prompts to help you think about the places and natural environments that matter to you. You might choose to stitch words, symbols, marks or small details in response. The workshop will be relaxed and welcoming, with time for making, conversation and reflection.
Photography
This project will be documented through photography. Please let us know during registration if you do not wish to be photographed.
