Join The Friends of the Gallery for a conversation with Barry RAINMAN Boland, whose exhibition Ancient Vibrations is currently on display until 1 August 2021.
Barry RAINMAN Boland (Gala Bairri Mari) is a contemporary Aboriginal artist, of Kamilaroi Euahlayi (Yuwularaay) and Northern Kamilaroi/ Bigambul heritage, whose totems are emu (Dhinawun), wallaby, snake, long neck turtle, wedge tail eagle (Maliyan Kaputhin) and goanna (Dhulaay), representing the bloodlines that connect to more than 40,000 years in his mothers and fathers countries. Barry has been delivering cultural and art activities for the last 30 years throughout Australia, and internationally.
