FACES OF THE NORTHERN RIVERS :: Kids Activities

Lismore Regional Gallery and the Lismore Lantern Parade will combine forces on Parade Day to create art activities inside and outside the gallery. From 10.30am inside the gallery, Peggy Popart will take kids on a free interactive art tour of the gallery’s current exhibition, The Northern Rivers Portrait Prize.

From 11.00am outside, Lismore Lantern Parade arts facilitator Rena Woolbank will support participants to create portraits and a banner to be carried in the 2013 Lismore Lantern Parade. Also on hand will be esteemed local artist and art teacher Rene Bolten who will share his knowledge in the art of portraiture with participants.
