This event is FULLY BOOKED. Leigh Davison shows us around his own house and community buildings on Dharmananda. The house is a 30 year plus owner-built home and an outstanding example of a sustainable home. It features recycled timber for framing and interior lining, the Minimus continuous flow composting toilet, a 2 volt power system driven by solar panels and micro-hydro (pelton wheel), greywater irrigated bananas and Solarhart hot water heater.Anton Nguyen, Lismore City Council, will answer questions about how sustainable practices are applied and encouraged in the City of Lismore.
