Latitudes of Salt and Sky is an exhibition of contemporary landscape works that pay homage to the breathtaking expanse of the Pacific Ocean. The gestural abstract paintings are created with photographic mediums that utilise sunlight and seawater to imbue the work with a sense of place that evokes a feeling reminiscent of the wild wind, turbulent waves and infinite horizons of our coastal environs. These works act as both a celebration and a requiem for the natural coastal spaces that are under threat from anthropogenic climate influence.
