Jasper Hills investigates the affective resonance of grotesque, schlocky and low-brow imagery, alluding to '60s psychedelic patterns. He is interested in why certain aesthetic sensibilities can capture one's attention more than others - a concern that stems from an obsession with YouTube and with time-wasting videos online.
