moss moves is an exhibition of drawings that explores the intimacies and textual possibilities of mark-making. Abstract pictorial worlds are built by layering oil on paper and etching back into the surface. Each work is an invitation to situate oneself in spaces where mosses and other microorganisms live and thrive. By intertwining notions of metaphorical and physical space, Moser navigates themes of connectivity to the natural world and self.
