Vitor Dos Santos explores painting as an analytical exercise of finding personal motifs and imagery, and exploring form, colour and the medium of paint. In his exhibition, I wish my house had legs, Dos Santos whimsically reflects on the shortage of affordable housing in Australia, which makes house ownership impossible for Australians without a significant, stable income or family support. ‘I wish my house had legs'… if only it could be that easy.
