Duo presents 5 young people with unique one-on-one sessions with a professional artist as a part mentoring, part creative exchange. The young person will gain skills and experience working alongside a professional artist, while the artist has a chance to re-consider their work in new ways, taking a fresh approach to their work through engagement with the art of a young person. It is also an opportunity for local artists and young people to have a voice within the gallery through professional means.
Established artists from the Northern Rivers region will mentor young people in their studios, culminating in an exhibition of work the pairs have created.
