Join us for the School of Dreams workshop led by Melbourne/Naarm-based poet, artist, and researcher Manisha Anjali. This three-hour session will offer an introduction to dreamwork, space for participants to discuss their dreams, and practical approaches to engaging creatively with dream material.
This program is in response to the Gallery 2 exhibition And her hallway moves like the ocean by Babette Robertson. Babette's exhibition explores the traces left by dreams, first recorded in writing and later translated into watercolour studies that capture the fluid imagery, symbolism, and atmosphere of the dreaming mind. The program will also feature a guided 'daydreaming' exercise—an immersive encounter with Babette's artworks.
This workshop is suitable for people aged 16 years and over. It is an excellent opportunity for those looking to creatively expand their dream and unconscious life, learning directly from an experienced dreamwork facilitator.
Tickets are $15 (concession) and $25 full price. Bookings are essential, and tickets are limited. Book now.
Auslan interpretation can be selected at the time of booking, and requires 7 business days' notice. The Gallery is wheelchair accessible. If you would like to discuss your accessibility requirements, please email linsey.gosper@lismore.nsw.gov.au or call 02 6627 460.
