Hunter Street Backyards Lismore No.1 captures the urban beauty of this Lismore scene. Edna McKenzie donated this work as part of a collection of images depicting the Lismore region from the 1920s to the 1980s and works inspired by botanical subjects.
About the artist
Edna McKenzie was a long-time Lismore local, and her connection to the area went back to the pioneering days. She was also one of the longest-participating members of the Lismore Art Club.
