Access
We believe in the benefits of accessible programming for everyone and regularly offer free, inclusive programs catering to diverse access needs.
These programs include Collage Club, Deaf-led Auslan exhibition tours, and our new Low Sensory and Noisy Hours. Our exhibition openings and most programs are Auslan-interpreted, and our priority is to ensure all our events are wheelchair accessible. Lismore Regional Gallery is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible toilet available.
Visit the Gallery on Wednesday mornings to enjoy quiet time and low sensory exhibitions. This includes reduced lighting, a quiet rest space with headphones, sensory toys, peaceful sounds, and tea available.
Do you wonder what it would be like to dance or sing to the artwork or experience the exhibitions through expressive and noisy performances? We invite you to experience Noisy Hour at the gallery on Friday afternoons. Once per exhibition round, we offer a loud performance for all to attend.
For further assistance, contact us by phone at 02 6627 4600, email art.gallery@lismore.nsw.gov.au or message us on social media @LismoreRegionalGallery.
Each exhibition and event is different, check out the event listing for more information on access. Please feel free to contact us if you need any more help.
