The Quad :: Where Space Meets Community

A one of a kind cultural precinct and public space adopted by the community as their own creative
Playground. Dedicated to showcase a dynamic program of cross disciplinary acts, the quad generates a unique phenomenon of collaboration and intersectionality, where people come together united by the power of community and creativity.

The Quad connects Lismore Regional Gallery, Lismore City Library, the Northern Rivers Conservatorium and the Social Futures Clubhouse. The activation of the Quad as Lismore's creative playground is a strategic partnership between Southern Cross University and Lismore City Council.

Lismore City Council in conjuction with a number of arts funding bodies jointly funds the work of the Lismore Quadrangle Placemaking Officer. This role is working to activate the Quad and Lismore CBD through innovative placemaking strategies. The partnership facilitates a suite of activities that harness the power of creatives, students, researchers and organizations across the city and the region.
The Lismore Quadrangle Placemaking Officer is working closely with stakeholders and partners to program a series of initiatives and events. Check out the What's On tab to see what's coming up.

To book the quad for your event, download and complete the QUAD Hire Form.
