Established in 1953, Lismore Regional Gallery is one of the longest-running cultural organisations in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. Our vision is to be a place for everybody and build on a history of inclusion and innovation. Our commitment is to bring the community on a shared journey of engaging in contemporary art through a bold program of exhibitions, artist commissions, public programs and offsite projects.

After the floods in 2022, the restoration of the Lismore Regional Gallery will be complete by mid-2024. Until then, we will present a series of self-generated exhibitions and projects with local and interstate artists at a new pop-up space in the Lismore CBD. Refer to the Lismore City Council Flood Restoration - Buildings, Parks and Facilities page dedicated to updating the community on the restoration of the Council’s Buildings including the Lismore Regional Gallery.

Lismore Regional Gallery is a creative initiative of Lismore City Council supported by the New South Wales Government through Create NSW, the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body, and the Friends of the Gallery.
