After school art classes
Starting May 15
We are back offering After School Art Classes! May 15 - June 26, 2023Join us in the pop-up space for after school art classes with artist Mia Zapata. Teens will explore the theme: Technology OLD vs NEW, examining the variables between old and new technologies and the possibilities for generating new ideas and artistic outcomes. Each week students will be shown both old and new methods to achieve the weeks theme and then as a group workshop how to combine the two. Students are encouraged to bring personal devices such as iPads and phones where possible.
After school art classes will take place on Mondays from 4pm - 5.30pm, this class is designed for teens. Pricing: $20 per class / $140 per term (7 weeks). Book your ticket here. Mia Zapata is a Northern Rivers based contemporary artist, working with both analogue and digital media. Her work explores the connections and contrasts between humans and their environment as well as technology and nature.
